|| Healing From The Inside Out ||

Turmeric and ginger are the subterraneous roots of tropical plants. Known in botany as rhizomes, these special roots are wealthy with earth medicine as they hold the highest concentrated nutrients of the plant.

Turmeric is rich in curcumin, an antioxidant that helps your brain produce more serotonin and dopamine. Both of which naturally elevate your mood. A recent study by Baylor University showed that taking 1,000 mg of curcumin daily could have the same effects as taking an antidepressant, without the side effects. (Please, consult a physician before hopping off your meds).

Curcumin, is also a strong anti-inflammatory. Research is beginning to show it to be just as effective, and a safer alternative for over the counter pain pills.

Ginger, has strong antioxidant properties as well and is traditionally used in folk medicine as a remedy to energize and balance digestion.

Long used in Ayurvedic cooking, ghee is a type of clarified butter. It is extraordinarily rich in fat-soluble vitamins, a good source of healthy fat and complete with natural cancer-fighting properties.

Trust me, this recipe is decadently delicious...

Elevate your mood and energize your day with Ayurveda's Turmeric Chai Latte!
